Not too cold for our start to the day, finished packing up Joy & Wayne and left Macedon at 8.15am. Now it is nice and sunny for MT at Bridgewater beside the Loddon River. You can see here where the river had broken it’s banks and flooded over the low surrounding area. There is quite a lot of debris washed up against the neighbouring fences. It must have been really terrible to have been here during the floods…………. Lovely sunny day with a few whispy clouds and no wind. Lunch planned for Sea Lake. Have been playing with the Camera and will start taking a few serious shots shortly. Arrived at Kings Billabong and it is really lovely. Very quiet and got the camp fire started and the camp oven on for dinner with no hassle at all. I love being back in the Van. Tomorrow we have a big day over to Port Augusta (over 600kms)
Congratulations on the sale of your house, now time to enjoy the next phase of your lives and what a wonderful way to start, I can think of nothing nicer that sitting on the side of a river and travelling this lovely country of ours, not that I have done it, but one day!! Have a wonderful and safe trip.
