Wayne was up and about early this morning to photograph a beautiful sunrise. His words, we were still sound asleep….It is a clear sunny morning and we are on our way out to Yalara Resort. People we have been talking to are telling us it is really busy and Caravans are lined up to get in, glad we have a booking. All settled in and ready to explore Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) this afternoon and then head over to Uluru (Ayers Rock) to watch the sunset tonight. Campsite is very nice and even has a camp kitchen opposite. Have been for a drive out to the Olgas and walked the short walk (Walpa Gorge Walk) which was about 2.6kms return. Got some good pictures and then headed for Ayers Rock and watched the sunset. When we arrived back at the Resort at 7.00pm there was a line of 7 Caravans waiting to book in - good luck!!!!! Tomorrow morning we are up early to go and watch the sunrise. A bit tired tonight so an early one ready for tomorrow.
